PUBLIC SAFETY

2. Public Safety

Every resident deserves to feel safe in their home, on their block, and throughout the community. Public safety is about more than emergency response. It is about creating neighborhoods where families feel supported, businesses can operate confidently, and young people have opportunities to succeed. Strengthening safety in the 7th Ward requires collaboration between residents, community organizations, and local leadership to address the root causes of crime while improving the overall quality of life throughout the ward.
